The Role:

Work within a dedicated Healthcare Team to provide 24hr nursing care:

• Organisation of the healthcare staff on the floor daily
• Assist with Resident mobility, using approved, safe techniques and equipment.
• Communicate clearly with Residents & Staff, taking into account individual needs and ability
• Ensure Residents are comfortable and have everything they need
• Record details of care, such as eating and drinking on our computerised tablets (iPad)
• Assist with all personal care of the Resident including washing and dressing
• Pass on any observations, queries through the Unit Healthcare Supervisor / Senior Care Staff
• Oversee and book in visitations via appointments
• Cleaning using Infection Control Prevention (IPC) within the Unit
• Answer Unit telephone, including Unit Mobile and initiate call backs for any voicemails
• Engage Residents in social activities and general events

All our Care Staff are paid their breaks.
