Healthcare Assistant

Are you interested in working in a busy, dynamic and friendly Outpatient Department? We are looking for a motivated and flexible Band 2 Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatient team.

Predominantly to work in main Outpatients but you will also be required to deliver a seven day service trauma and orthopaedics patients based at our specialist emergency hospital, you will be required to be flexible and work within other Outpatient departments and across other sites to deliver care therefore a car driver is essential.

We will provide a supportive learning environment and encourage you with your personal and professional development.


Main duties of the job

To support pre-operative screening and new technology’s within out patients.

Clinic management and assisting the qualified staff to provide excellent out patient services.

Supporting patients in the department.

  • Understanding of patients basic needs
  • Previous care experience preferably in a healthcare setting
